A tragic accident occurred near the Bhulairi Air Base on the M-9 Motorway, on the Karachi-Hyderabad road, where four cars collided. One of the cars caught fire, resulting in the death of three people, including two women, due to severe burns. More than six others were injured in the incident.
The accident took place within the jurisdiction of Luni Kot Police Station, near Bhulairi Air Base, as four cars were involved in a collision during an overtaking attempt on the Karachi to Hyderabad route. One of the cars caught fire, trapping its occupants inside, leading to the deaths of three people, including a woman, who were seated in the back of the car. Six others in different cars were injured and were shifted to LMU Hospital by rescue teams. The bodies of the deceased were extracted from the burnt vehicle by cutting the car apart.
According to SHO Luni Kot Sikandar Rudnani, three people lost their lives and six others were injured in the incident. The M-9 Motorway was temporarily blocked but has now been cleared. The family involved in the accident is reported to be from Hyderabad.
