Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang, who is in Pakistan for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit, held an important meeting with Pakistani military officials.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Li Qiang met with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and the service chiefs.
The discussions reaffirmed the commitment to further strengthen and expand the longstanding relationship between Pakistan and China.
The meeting also addressed defense and counter-terrorism issues between China and Pakistan.
The Prime Minister commended the role of Pakistan’s armed forces in the fight against terrorism and assured full support and assistance for Pakistan in this war.
