Islamabad (News Agencies)— PTI has submitted a document to the Senate and National Assembly to block votes on the proposed constitutional amendments. The document states that no PTI member will vote in favor of the amendments and requests that votes not be counted in cases of floor crossing.
During discussions on the proposed amendments, PTI leaders performed the Maghrib prayer under the leadership of JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazal ur Rehman. Following a government delegation meeting, PTI Chairman Gohar Ali Khan, Umar Ayub Khan, Asad Qaiser, and Shibli Faraz visited Maulana Fazal ur Rehman’s residence, where they discussed the government’s constitutional draft. The meeting was also attended by JUI-F spokesperson Aslam Ghori and legal team members Senator Kamran Murtaza and Ehsan Khokhar.
The PTI delegation, upon returning, refrained from providing details about the meeting to the media, only stating that the meeting went well and that Maulana Fazal ur Rehman provided an excellent meal.
