Under the instructions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) is continuing to provide humanitarian assistance to Gaza and Lebanon.

NDMA Dispatches Twelfth Relief Shipment to Lebanon Under Prime Minister’s Direction

The second aid shipment from Karachi has been dispatched to Lebanon.

This relief shipment, sent by the NDMA in collaboration with the Al-Khidmat Foundation, includes approximately 100 tons of supplies such as medicines, ready-to-eat meat, tents, tarpaulins, warm bedding, warm clothing, and powdered milk.

The relief goods were sent by air from Jinnah International Airport in Karachi to Beirut, Lebanon.

This is the twelfth shipment of relief goods from Pakistan for Palestine and Lebanon.

Previously, ten relief shipments were sent for Palestine, while the second aid shipment for Lebanon was dispatched on Thursday.

The Government of Pakistan is continuing to send relief supplies according to the needs of the war-affected people of Lebanon and Palestine.

The aid package sponsored by a Pakistani NGO is being sent with the cooperation of the Prime Minister’s Office, NDMA, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The aid package contains approximately 90 tons of relief supplies.

The aid includes 50 tons of medicines, 15 tons of ready-to-eat meat, 9 tons of tents, 5 tons of tarpaulins, 4 tons of bedding for winter, 2 tons of winter clothing, and 5 tons of powdered milk.

The relief goods will reach Beirut by flight, where they will be received by Pakistan’s Ambassador.

The supplies will be distributed locally.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has prepared five additional NGO-supported flights.
