A reception was held in honor of Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Investment, Sheikh Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, and his delegation. The event was attended by Saudi investors, senior officials, and business group members.

Federal Ministers Attaullah Tarar, Jam Kamal Khan, Musadik Malik, and Shiza Fatima also graced the occasion. Federal Minister for the Board of Investment, Abdul Aleem Khan, briefed the Saudi delegation on the performance of Pakistan’s private sector.

Sheikh Khalid expressed his satisfaction with the growth and development of Pakistan’s private sector. In his speech, Minister Abdul Aleem Khan emphasized that Saudi Arabia has always supported Pakistan during challenging times, stating, “Before we could ask, Saudi Arabia extended its hand of friendship.”

He further highlighted that Pakistan’s private sector plays a major role in the country’s economy, with financial indicators improving. The minister expressed confidence in the significant opportunities within Pakistan’s private sector and discussed potential partnerships in both Business-to-Business (B2B) and Government-to-Government (G2G) projects.

The reception was also attended by Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki, and senior diplomatic officials. Abdul Aleem Khan mentioned that Pakistan has introduced visa-free entry for investors from 126 countries. Sheikh Khalid declared the reception as a memorable highlight of his visit and expressed goodwill for the people of Pakistan.

The participants stood in respect during the national anthems of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, with the Saudi delegation showing interest in the business model presented by Minister Abdul Aleem Khan.
