Celebrating Pak-Saudi Friendship: Maahira Ali Showcases Pakistan’s Rich Culture at ‘Colors of Pakistan’ Art Exhibition in Jeddah
Renowned Pakistani artist Maahira Ali, who has earned widespread acclaim for her exceptional artwork in numerous exhibitions, recently organized a painting exhibition titled “Colors of Pakistan” at the Udham Art Gallery in Jeddah. The event attracted a large number of art enthusiasts from both the Pakistani and Saudi communities. Distinguished guests included officials from the Pakistan Consulate and Vice President of Abeer Medical Group, Saudi Arabia & Middle East, Dr. Afsar Ehtisham.
During the event, Dr. Ehtisham praised Maahira Ali’s efforts in using art to promote a positive image of Pakistan on the global stage. He applauded her for showcasing the richness of Pakistani culture and providing a platform for talented artists to present their work to art lovers in both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Among the talented artists who participated in the exhibition with their remarkable paintings were Abir Marwat, Zarqa Yousuf, Naima Munees, Shazia Nair, Qudrat Ain, Nausheen Qureshi, and Saudi artist Sama Sameer Qutbi. These artists beautifully captured the essence of nature through their artworks.
Earlier, Maahira Ali expressed her gratitude to all the guests, participants, and Dr. Afsar Ehtisham of Abeer Medical Group. She emphasized the significance of supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and strengthening the cultural and literary ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Syed Mahfooz Ali also extended his thanks to the guests and gave special recognition to his wife, Maahira Ali, for her efforts in organizing the exhibition. The event concluded with the cutting of a cake symbolizing the everlasting friendship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
