At the inauguration ceremony, Federal Secretary for Information Amberin Jan, Principal Information Officer (PIO) Mubashir Hassan, and other senior officials from the Ministry of Information were also present.
Representatives of local and foreign media will benefit from the Media Facilitation Center during the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit, taking place on October 15 and 16.
The Media Facilitation Center, established at the Pak China Friendship Center, is equipped with modern facilities, including a computer lab, high-speed internet, digital printers, a digital studio, a podcast studio, a media library, and a conference room.
The Press Information Department (PID) has made extensive arrangements for the Media Facilitation Center.
A digital library has also been set up in the Media Facilitation Center by the Directorate of Electronic Media and Publications.
To assist local and foreign journalists, an information desk has been established in the Media Facilitation Center.
Throughout the SCO conference, 24-hour facilities will be available for journalists covering the event at the Media Facilitation Center.
