Islamabad, October 14 (APP): A formal reception ceremony was held at the Prime Minister’s House in honor of Li Qiang, the Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of China, where he was presented with a Guard of Honor. Upon arrival at the Prime Minister’s House, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif warmly welcomed him.
During the occasion, both Prime Ministers expressed goodwill sentiments towards each other. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif accompanied the Chinese Prime Minister to the saluting dais, where the national anthems of both countries were played. The Chinese Prime Minister inspected the Guard of Honor, which was presented by a smartly turned-out contingent from all three armed forces.
At this moment, members of the federal cabinet and staff were introduced to the Chinese Prime Minister, and the Chinese delegation was introduced to the Pakistani Prime Minister. Additionally, the Chinese Prime Minister planted a sapling in the courtyard of the Prime Minister’s House as a memento of his visit.
