Federal Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain Critiques PTI and Highlights Economic Progress.
Federal Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain in Muridke
Federal Minister for Industry and Production, Rana Tanveer Hussain, stated that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has joined the ranks of the “khawarij” and the nation has rejected them. He emphasized that the time is not far when this turmoil will be completely buried, allowing the country to progress.
Speaking to the media in Muridke, Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain mentioned that constitutional amendments are a matter of public interest and should not be sacrificed for political gain. He pointed out that the demand for constitutional reform is not new; it has been a 30-year-old demand supported by all bar associations in the country, including PTI itself.
The Federal Minister stated that the government is ready to address objections regarding constitutional amendments but will not be concerned with baseless opposition. When asked about Ali Amin Gandapur, he described him as a criminal element, stating that this is why the public is rejecting him at rallies.
Rana Tanveer Hussain asserted that in a province where the Chief Minister promotes violence by brandishing a Kalashnikov, peace cannot be expected. He claimed that the PTI narrative does not serve the country or the nation but is solely focused on securing the release of its criminal founder. He added that Ali Amin Gandapur’s claims of negotiations with Afghanistan are tantamount to the Afghan government’s position being a slap in the face to him.
Rana Tanveer Hussain remarked that the Chief Justice’s questions are valid and the relevant judges should respond to this unique case in judicial history. He also noted that global institutions are expressing confidence in Pakistan’s economic development, with inflation having decreased from 38% to single digits, and further reductions are anticipated.
