Chief Minister’s “Khelta Punjab” Program Promotes Sports at District Level

Matches of the Tap Ball Cricket Tournament are currently underway in Toba Tek Singh, featuring eight teams from across Punjab. Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Naeem Sindhu and MPA Ayub Khan Gadhi made special appearances and interacted with the players.

Under the vision of Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, sports competitions are ongoing at the district level. The cricket tournament is being organized under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Naeem Sindhu, with participation from eight teams across Punjab. The Deputy Commissioner and MPA Ayub Khan Gadhi attended the event, met with the players, and observed the matches. According to the Deputy Commissioner, the winning team will receive a prize of five lakh rupees, while the runner-up team will be awarded three lakh rupees. The semi-final losing teams will receive one and a half lakh rupees each, and the remaining four teams will each receive one lakh rupees.

MPA Ayub Khan stated that the Punjab government is spending billions of rupees to promote sports among youth, and under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Punjab is progressing in every field.
