The Balochistan Government’s Minorities Affairs Department organized an Interfaith Harmony Conference in Quetta. Distinguished scholars and representatives from various religious communities in the province attended the event to promote dialogue and national unity, as well as to encourage the responsible use of social media in this modern age of technology and artificial intelligence.

The event’s guest of honor, Parliamentary Secretary for Minority Affairs and Member of the Balochistan Assembly, Sanjay Kumar Punjwani, highlighted that under the vision of Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, and the leadership of Secretary Mr Sallaudin Noorzai, the department is working with all stakeholders to foster national unity and interfaith harmony across the province. The aim is to make Balochistan a model province to live in.

Speakers at the conference emphasized the importance of peaceful coexistence between different religions, both in the province and nationwide. The event underscored that peaceful coexistence is crucial not only for Balochistan but for the entire country.

The objectives of the conference included encouraging open discussions among scholars and community leaders, strengthening relationships among different religious groups, and highlighting the importance of harmony between faiths in Balochistan. There was also an agreement to organize similar positive activities across all districts of the province in the future.
