The Modi government is promoting state-sponsored terrorism to achieve its nefarious political objectives.

The Indian state of Manipur has been under severe state pressure and violence for the past year.

So far, hundreds of people have lost their lives in Manipur, and thousands have been displaced.

Recently, an international report stated that “a curfew was imposed in Churachandpur district of Manipur on the evening of October 16 due to the prevailing situation.”

For the past two days, schools, colleges, and other private and government institutions in Churachandpur have been closed, causing severe hardships for the public, according to the report.

Internet services and other communication channels have been suspended in Churachandpur for the past 48 hours, paralyzing daily life in the area, as per the international report.

Prior to this, a curfew was also imposed in Imphal Valley and its surrounding areas, which is still ongoing.

Villages and churches of the Kuki tribes are being burned, and 70,000 people have been displaced from their ancestral villages.

The people of Manipur are forced to live like refugees in their own country.

Despite the United Nations taking note of the issue in Manipur, the Modi government remains obstinate and evasive in resolving the problem.

The BJP is creating unrest and uncertainty not only at the state level but also regionally.

The United Nations and human rights organizations should conduct an impartial investigation into the situation in Manipur and expose the true face of the BJP to the world.
