VO:
The Unity Among Muslims Seerat Conference held in Bradford saw participation from individuals of all sects, emphasizing the importance of unity among Muslims. They expressed their commitment to continue their efforts to bring different sects closer together and foster harmony and agreement. At this occasion, Dr. Hamad Lodhi, President of the UK Islamic Mission, stated that promoting unity within the Ummah is one of the top priorities of their welfare organization, which is evidenced by the participation of scholars from various backgrounds in this conference. He noted that global powers continue to attack Gaza through traditional and cultural assaults. Today, we must instill a spirit of faith, capability, and resilience within ourselves. The UK Islamic Mission invites Muslims worldwide to embrace unity and solidarity so that the message of Islamic civilization reaches the world.
At this event, Allama Ghulam Hussain Adeel, representing the Shia community, stated that our mutual differences have rendered us hollow. More than 95% of issues share common values across all sects, which we have overlooked, leading to divisions among ourselves that our enemy forces are exploiting. He pointed out that today, there is severe humanitarian and educational genocide occurring in Gaza. Global powers remain spectators, and 57 Islamic countries are caught in political compromises. He mentioned that there have been fifty thousand martyrs and nearly one hundred thousand injured in Gaza. If the Muslim Ummah remains indifferent and does not unite, it would be nothing but misfortune. We must raise our voices for the Muslims of Palestine as an act of worship.
The founder of the Al-Zahra Center Bradford, Allama Afzal Saidi, addressed the conference, stating that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was sent as a mercy to the worlds and as a prophet for all humanity. The disbelievers and polytheists inflicted every kind of oppression on the Prophet (peace be upon him) and his companions in Makkah. They subjected him to physical and mental torture and rained stones upon him. Despite this, the Prophet (peace be upon him), as a mercy to the worlds, exhibited the highest moral conduct and forgave them. He emphasized that the social system presented by the Prophet of humanity (peace be upon him) not only instructed Muslims to treat each other with kindness but also taught good conduct with non-Muslims. The blessed life of the Prophet (peace be upon him) serves as a model for the entire world and is like an open book.
Speeches were also delivered by Maulana Muhammad Iqbal, Mufti Ashfaq, Maulana Waseem Khan, Maulana Naveed Shah, and Maulana Muhammad Irshad. Hafiz Umair Younus recited verses from the Quran, and Qari Babar Nadeem Niazi, Khurram Iqbal, Abdul Hafeez Khan, and others presented Naat. At the end of the conference, a special prayer was offered for the unity and solidarity of the Muslim Ummah.
