Punjab College Ke Khilaf Sazish

Punjab College Ke Khilaf Sazish

First, we must establish a fundamental point: can any of us support the rape of a college student by a guard or watchman? The answer is absolutely no. And can the administration of a reputable educational institution support an attempt of rape by any employee? The answer is also clearly and unequivocally no.

If someone tells us that our dog has taken our ear, will we first check our ear or run after the dog? When we are accusing someone of rape, shouldn’t we first find out whether the rape actually occurred? The answer to this question is known to everyone, yet the tragedy is that when an allegation is made—whether it’s rape or blasphemy—we do not verify the facts.

I consider the Quran to be a complete code of life. It instructs me to verify any news that comes to me from a corrupt individual. My Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said that it is enough for a person to be considered a liar if they pass on every rumor without verification. In cases of rape or murder, there is always an affected party, a complainant, a witness, and some evidence.

If I were to delve into the Quran regarding evidence for adultery, it is quite clear. However, I don’t even need to go that far; I ask a very simple question: who is the victim of the assault, and where is she? Is it possible to accuse someone of murder without a dead body or even knowing the name of the person who has allegedly been murdered? Do not tell me that in the motorway rape case, the victim was behind the scenes, because the actual situation is that while she may have been behind the scenes, she was indeed present.

To those who initiated all this from an Instagram post, my question is: does the man you have accused, simply because he is a poor guard, not deserve to have proof provided for the accusation against him? I ask you, even if the girl is in the background, she must have friends, classmates, or teachers who know about her and can testify on her behalf. Let’s assume she succumbed to the pressures of college. Then, there is the hospital where she was taken to the ICU. Morally, my statement may not be correct, but biologically and medically, tell me how a sixteen or seventeen-year-old college girl could end up in the ICU or die from an intercourse unless the rapist had severely injured her like in the Kolkata incident.

Tell me, some doctor must have treated her, a nurse must have administered IV fluids, some paramedic must have drawn blood—where are they all? And let’s not forget the police; they seized the CCTV footage and allegedly arrested the suspect. Why would they protect him? My question goes further: if such an incident occurred, why would people like Mian Amir and Sohail Afzal protect a guard instead of defending their dignity and the reputation of their institution?

Has any police officer reported anything, or has any crime reporter provided any news? Or are they all devoid of conscience, and only those shouting on the streets are the ones with a conscience? What did they say? That the administration has erased the CCTV footage—then the education minister should retrieve it. Leaving all this aside, when that girl died, a death certificate must have been issued, a mother must have mourned, a funeral must have occurred, and she must have been buried—where are all these details? Why are they silent? Let’s assume you staged a drama and lied. A conspiracy has been plotted against a successful institution, and a specific political group is involved.

You ignore all the facts and questions and cling to fake news because you are fanatical and extremist. You are the same people who kill an innocent person on false blasphemy charges and feel proud of it. Your training has turned you into zombies, and you have become like Shah Dullah’s rats. This all spread through WhatsApp groups and social media apps.

Men aged twenty-five or twenty-six reached girls’ colleges because they were invited. Among them were those who could not reach D-Chowk, and they tried to recreate the Islamabad spectacle in Lahore. Outsiders fired shots, injuring not only male teachers but also female teachers severely. Those protesting over an alleged rape were saying, “Get the female teachers out; we will rape them.” I feel sorry for Jamaat-e-Islami and Islami Jamiat Talaba, whom I regard as the best in character, but now one must witness their decline as well.

I wish to engage the Punjab education minister in dialogue about how their TikTok obsession has given fanatics a rationale. When the Punjab information minister was seeking verified information late at night and the police were denying the incident, on what crime and authority did the education minister suspend the college’s registration?

My protest is also that when there is neither a complainant nor an accused, under what law and which FIR was that poor guard arrested? Let me say this: institutions are built over decades, and they can be destroyed through a few conspiracies. This incident has proven that we live in a jungle where there are no morals, no laws, no logic, and no evidence—only accusations fly. Before this, these fanatics and rapists labeled Islamia University Bahawalpur as a brothel, making thousands of allegations about videos, and my question since then remains: where are those videos? Now, top achievers’ first choice of institution has become the target. If I were the head of an Islamic state, I would impose the same punishment on those who make false allegations as I would for the allegation itself.

Look at the depths of the conspirators’ depravity: a girl who was hospitalized with a leg injury had her name exploited in this filthy campaign, forcing her father and uncle to explain to the police and the media. My question remains: I am also ready to protest against rape, but where did the rape happen? Whose rape was it? Who witnessed the rape?
