A shocking call has surfaced, revealing a disturbing collaboration between the banned Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM), allegedly funded and supported by enemy agencies.
The call features an exchange between TTP operative Tariq Mehmood, alias Abu Husham, and a PTM member, during which their sinister intentions became evident.
During the call, Tariq Mehmood expressed his desire to participate in a local jirga (tribal assembly), stating:
“I long to be part of the jirga happening down below.”
He went on to urge his Pashtun brothers to unify their efforts, saying:
“I tell my Pashtun brothers that arms, politics, and protests should all come together.”
Mehmood also called for a united front among all factions, whether military or non-military, stating:
“Everyone should unite, whether they are military or non-military or those connected to the Taliban from KP (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa).”
He further incited violence against Punjabis and other ethnic groups, saying:
“Drive out Punjabis and other communities from your areas and claim your territory.”
Defense experts analyzing the leaked call stated:
“This call is a conspiracy to incite proud Pashtuns through the Pashtun card.”
They emphasized that Mehmood’s eagerness to participate in the protest is clear evidence of the alliance between TTP and PTM.
The call emphasized inciting ethnic and nationalist sentiments and encouraged unity against non-Pashtun communities.
Defense analysts warned that this call urges both military and non-military forces within Pashtun tribes to rise against the state of Pakistan.
Experts further noted that the PTM is attempting to weaken Pakistan’s foundations while playing the victim card, asserting:
“The PTM and TTP are two sides of the same coin.”
