Speaker of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the passing of former National Assembly Speaker Elahi Bux Soomro.
The Speaker offered condolences to the family of the late Elahi Bux Soomro.
“I share the sorrow of the bereaved family during this difficult time,” said the Speaker of the National Assembly.
The Speaker paid tribute to the late Elahi Bux Soomro for his social and political services.
“The nation has lost a sincere and visionary political leader with the passing of Elahi Bux Soomro,” said the Speaker of the National Assembly.
The Speaker noted that the late Elahi Bux Soomro’s contributions to the promotion of democratic values and the strengthening of Parliament will be remembered for a long time.
“Elahi Bux Soomro was a wise and senior political leader,” remarked the Speaker.
The Speaker prayed to Allah Almighty for the elevation of the late Elahi Bux Soomro’s ranks and patience for the bereaved family.
