A three-day fifth annual convention organized by the World Sikh Parliament was held in Frankfurt, Germany, with participation from Sikh community leaders from around the globe.
This year’s convention focused on reviewing the performance of 2024 and discussing programs for the upcoming year. Special invitations were extended to students from across Europe to raise awareness among the younger generation regarding Khalistan.
Delegates from the UK, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, Australia, Canada, and the United States attended the annual session of the World Sikh Parliament.
During the event, speakers condemned the atrocities committed by the Modi government against farmers and minorities, asserting that such actions are aimed at silencing the Sikh call for freedom. They highlighted the targeted killings of Sikhs, state oppression, and inhumane treatment, pledging to continue their struggle until the release of political leaders imprisoned in Indian jails and the establishment of Khalistan.
The speakers called on the international community to take notice of India’s thuggery and bullying. They expressed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tactics of threatening minorities and forcefully assimilating them into the Hindu majority are now extending beyond India’s borders, manifesting as global bullying.
It was noted that there is a deliberate conspiracy to target Sikh leaders residing in North America, Canada, the UK, Pakistan, and Australia, which violates international laws.
At the conclusion of the convention, a joint resolution was adopted calling for international efforts to establish a separate nation for Sikhs, expressing a commitment to work together for an independent Sikh state. The hall echoed with chants of Khalistan throughout the event.
