PM Appreciates Efforts in Maintaining Law and Order in Islamabad
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met with Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi. The Interior Minister briefed the Prime Minister on the latest situation in Islamabad.
The Prime Minister praised the federal interior minister, the Islamabad administration, and the Islamabad police for maintaining law and order in the capital. He commended the Islamabad police for their outstanding role in thwarting the attack on Islamabad, noting that the Pakistan Army, Punjab Police, and Rangers also played a key role in ensuring peace.
Constable Hamid Shah embraced martyrdom while protecting the lives and property of the public. May Allah elevate the martyr’s status. The nation will always remember this sacrifice, the Prime Minister stated.
The Prime Minister expressed solidarity with the family of the martyr, instructing that their needs be fully taken care of. He assured that the protection of the lives and property of Islamabad’s citizens has been ensured.
The situation is rapidly returning to normal. Economic development and the prosperity of this blessed nation are our top priorities, said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Political opponents are unable to digest the improvement in Pakistan’s economy; the world acknowledges Pakistan’s economic policies, and the political opposition seeks to obstruct the country’s development, the Prime Minister added.
We will not allow anyone to unlawfully create instability regarding Pakistan’s economy, and international events in Pakistan will proceed as normal in the coming days, said the Prime Minister.
He emphasized that top-notch security arrangements are being made, with full attention devoted to it. Major roads have been opened for traffic, according to the Interior Minister’s briefing.
The situation is rapidly returning to normal, the Interior Minister confirmed. He also briefed the Prime Minister on the repatriation of Pakistani prisoners from Sri Lanka.
Fifty-six Pakistani prisoners imprisoned in Sri Lanka will return home today, the Interior Minister stated. Federal Minister for Privatization Abdul Aleem Khan will cover all expenses related to the repatriation of Pakistani prisoners from Sri Lanka, the Interior Minister added.
The Prime Minister commended the efforts of the Federal Interior Minister and the Federal Minister for Privatization regarding the return of prisoners from Sri Lanka.
